Our Team

Astrid Arrieta PT, CLT is a highly experienced physical therapist with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Metropolitan University of Colombia. She has been actively involved in the field for over 20 years and is a dedicated member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).

During the initial phase of her career, Astrid focused on treating patients with orthopedic and neurological conditions in various settings including hospitals, acute care facilities, and rehabilitation centers. Her extensive experience in these environments has provided her with a deep understanding of the complexities involved in rehabilitation and patient care.

Furthermore, Astrid is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist, demonstrating her expertise in treating lymphatic system disorders. Her specialized knowledge in manual lymphatic drainage, spanning over a decade, has equipped her with valuable skills for assisting patients, particularly those undergoing treatment for conditions such as breast cancer.

Astrid’s interest in pelvic floor rehabilitation emerged from her work with breast cancer patients. She recognized the importance of addressing pelvic health issues and embarked on further education and training in this area. She has pursued courses with the APTA and the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Institute, which are renowned for their focus on physical therapy interventions in pelvic rehabilitation. This additional training has allowed Astrid to expand her expertise and provide comprehensive care to her patients.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Astrid enjoys staying active through reading, and exercising. She also finds joy in training her dog.
