RUBEN ARRIETA PTA. Ruben is a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) who graduated from Miami Dade College Community and Technical College with an Associate’s degree in Applied Science in Physical Therapy Assistant in 2016. His educational background has equipped him with the necessary knowledge and skills to assist physical therapists in providing quality care to patients.
Ruben has developed a special interest in balance dysfunction and geriatric patients, reflecting his dedication to addressing the unique needs of older adults and individuals experiencing difficulties with balance and mobility. His commitment to professional growth is evident through his pursuit of certification in vestibular rehabilitation, indicating his desire to expand his expertise in this specialized area of physical therapy.
In addition to his focus on vestibular rehabilitation, Ruben is passionate about practicing in the field of orthopedics. His areas of expertise include the treatment of low back pain, sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, balance/vertigo difficulties, and work-related injuries. Ruben employs hands-on therapy techniques to reduce joint and soft tissue restrictions, along with individualized exercise prescription to enhance strength and function. His whole-body treatment approach addresses the underlying causes of pain and dysfunction, emphasizing patient education to foster a better understanding of how posture and movement patterns influence overall well-being.
Ruben values teamwork and enjoys the positive work environment among staff members. Outside of work, he prioritizes spending time with his family and engages in activities such as working out and reading.
